How We Operate
Our Approach
Partnership at Eye Level — seven operating principles that define how BCP works with every client, every investor, and every counterparty.
Seven Principles
Partnership at Eye Level
Independence
BCP is not a fund, a bank, or a broker. We have no capital quotas to fill, no house positions to push, and no institutional mandates that override client interests. Our independence is our most important structural asset.
Quality Over Volume
We work with a deliberately limited number of mandates at any time. This is not a scalable transaction factory — it is a senior advisory practice that requires focused attention on every engagement.
Confidentiality
Every engagement is conducted under strict confidentiality protocols. We do not publicise our pipeline, disclose counterparty relationships, or discuss our mandates in open forums. Discretion is a baseline, not a feature.
Long-Term Perspective
BCP measures success over years, not transactions. The majority of our deal flow comes from people we have worked with before. This incentive structure means we prioritise outcomes, not just closings.
Direct Senior Involvement
Every mandate is handled directly by a BCP partner from initiation to close. There are no junior handoffs, no hidden teams, and no bait-and-switch on expertise. The partner you meet is the partner who delivers.
Alignment of Interests
Where we invest our own capital alongside clients, we are fully aligned. Where we advise, our compensation is structured to incentivise successful outcomes — not just engagement activity.
Transparency
We tell clients what we can and cannot do, and we are honest about opportunities that do not meet our threshold. Unrealistic expectations lead to failed transactions and damaged relationships.
In Practice
"Every party in a transaction deserves senior attention, complete transparency, and a partner who is genuinely invested in their success."
These are not aspirational statements — they are the operating principles that have driven over 25 years of successful transactions across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
